into the ‘Space Age’, the rounded
French pommel is retained together with the sharp
taper to the tools. That’s where antiquity
dissolves into the 21st century: fully monobloc,
satin-polished hilts with mirror-polished tools.
The pommel too gets an update, attaining an extremely
elegant coved scallop so as to soften the harshness
that could otherwise intrude.
