Vecchio
translates as ‘old’ or ‘old
man’ in Italian, signifying the antiquity
of the structure. Its very age belies the modernity
of the designs that are on show in this traditional
venue. So too, this mirror-polished monobloc pattern.
The knife alone is a work of art, standing proudly
and serenely in its self-satisfied glory. Based
loosely on ancient Celtic knife designs of the
